UCLA Architecture and Urban Design has released their line-up of speakers and guest lecturers for the Fall. During the months of October and November, the school will welcome five influential leaders in architectural academia and professional practice. The themes for their 2020 Fall series revolve around conversations on the environment, culture, and urbanism.
To kick off the series, Rania Ghosn, founding partner of Design Earth and MIT Associate Professor of Architecture, and Urbanism, will discuss her work focusing on the urban condition and its involvement with politics, aesthetics, and technological systems. Other speakers include Kelema Lee Moses and her lecture on “Designing for Pacific Politics, Albert Pope, Ken Tadashi Oshima and his talk on “Visions of the Japanese House, and Elisa Iturbe.
