Role: Lecturer in Architecture


The Architecture subject area at Suffolk is seeking an experienced Architecture educator to contribute in one or more of the following strands in the growing BA (Hons) Architecture: architectural design, creative spatial practice, theory and methods, technology and sustainability.

You will contribute to Design Synthesis and/or other modules bringing strong and forward-thinking pedagogical ethic based on their field of specialism and may lead specific modules or units of assessment based on experience. You must be prepared to offer lab support and practical tuition as well as seminar-based teaching. We invite applications from experienced academics and practitioners with a track record of relevant expertise in the UK who are aware of ARB/RIBA standards and current University teaching methods and principles.

Architecture at Suffolk is part of the School of Engineering, Arts, Science and Technology (EAST). Our home School is one of the most diverse in the University with strong links to the Suffolk Sustainability Institute. Our dynamic learning and innovation environment make us an ideal place for people with curious minds and a passion for solving problems. Our Programmes provide strong integration of Arts, Science, Engineering and Creative Technologies to address the demands of the ever-changing societal needs via scholarly-led teaching, business engagement and research.
