House Stimpfl by Jürgen Haller

by AAshir

House Stimpfl is a wooden two-story house located in Austria, designed in 2020 by Jürgen Haller.

The young family did not want to build on the generous plot of land with a residential project that is common here and decided on a contemporary single-family house. Despite a limited budget, consistency and quality were required.

The garage including a storage room is part of the volume and integrated into the structure. The main focus with an extravagant interior design in wood was placed on the first floor. By lining with plain white fir paneling, the rooms appear less harsh and convey a sense of security. The interior walls and furniture were made of solid wood. The polished cement screed as well as the fireplace seating give the rooms a certain elegance in contrast to the wood.
